A new month has started, so good-bye April.
The month of April did not live up to its motto, showers. The area got a very small amount of rain, .92”. The area is in a drought, and it was easy for the fishermen this past weekend to catch the trout in the river.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for April 27 through May 3, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: April 27 – 71°, 44° (65°, 38°), April 28 – 72°, 47° (76°, 34°), April 29 – 63°, 50°, .3” (83°, 53°), April 30 – 52°, 39° (82°, 53°, .12”), May 1 – 62°, 34° (83°, 51°, .04”), May 2 – 52°, 35° (81°, 56°, .02”) and May 3 – 60°, 36° (72°, 58°, .27”).
Total rainfall for April was .92”, compared to 2.45” in April of 2025.
Year-to-date rainfall is 6.91”, compared to 8.86 for the same time period in 2025.
