During the month of May, Pendleton County WIC Clinic will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Pendle-ton Community Building in Franklin. Limited services are also available from 2 to 4 p.m. on other days of the week. Call for details.
Pendleton County participants can receive services in Petersburg if alternate days or evening appointments are desired. The office will be closed May 12 and 25.
WIC offers nutrition education and healthy foods to preg-nant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants to age 1 and children to age 5. Either parent or a designated guardian or caregiver can bring a child to appointments.
