This will be a busy weekend with two major events taking place. First is Memorial Day weekend with the busy traffic as many people travel through this area. Second is the big graduation Sunday for the seniors as they say good-bye to their school and classmates. Now their journey starts into this fast moving world.

Smith Creek and Friends Run Churches of the Brethren: shut-ins — [names listed]… Prayer thought: “Heavenly Father, we remember those who’ve fallen in battle. We remember those who’ve died in war. We long for Your lasting peace who has taken the sacrifice for our country.”

High and low temperatures and precipitation for May 12 through May 18, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: May 12 – 66°, 46°, .18″, May 13 – 65°, 57°, 2.53″ (66°, 39°), May 14 – 68°, 58° (63°, 57°, .15″), May 15 – 81°, 59°, .25″ (67°, 53°, .01″), May 16 – 82°, 58°, .55″ (77°, 54°), May 17 – 78°, 58° (71°, 53°, .02″), May 18 – 69°, 59° (72°, 55°, 1.46″).
