With all the rain the area is getting, residents may never get a change to plant the gardens. The rain is making the grass grow faster. But who knows when the sun will come out to dry the gardens and grass.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for May 9 through May 15, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: May 9 – 64°, 32°, frost (63°, 47°); May 10 – 70°, 34° (61°, 44°); May 11  – 73°, 37° (63°, 39°); May 12 – 71°, 51° (61°, 38°); May 13 – 70°, 56°, .14” (63°, 31°, freeze); May 14 – 72°, 57°, .18” (64°, 35°) and May 15 – 75°, 53°, .1” (66°, 34°).
