Curtis Theodore Middleton, beloved son, brother, dad, and Pap Pap, slipped loose of his earthly bonds to go to a better place on July 18, 2025.
Mr. Middleton moved in 2024 to Franklin, thanks to the support of the Musgrove families living there. This allowed him to be closer to family and enjoy a slower pace of retirement life.
The family would like to thank the staff at the VA clinic in Franklin, the Franklin library staff, the employees of the post office and Korner Cafe, Donna Evick, Guy McCutcheon, and many other neighbors who welcomed him into their community.
Surviving are a sister, Joyce Middleton; a daughter, Destiny Swandol; a son-in-law, Derrick Swandol; and three grandbabies, Raylan, Layla, and John Swandol.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C. Ray and Gail Middleton, and numerous other family members.
