Brandywine Elementary School staff and students honored and observed Veterans Day last Thursday. George Armstrong, Steve O’Toole, Larry Flinn and Alicia Johnston visited all BES classrooms to discuss the importance of the holiday and why military veterans are celebrated. Students learned valuable lessons from these local veterans and their experiences.
