The area felt the taste of summer with three days in a row of 90° temperatures. Lucky for local residents, there was a rain shower with a good lightning show.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for July 18 through July 24, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: July 18 – 84°, 64°, .01” (78°, 60°); July 19 – 89°, 65° (88°, 57°); July 20 – 87°, 60° (84°, 60°); July 21 – 88°, 65° (85°, 56°); July 22 – 90°, 61° (83°, 55°); July 23 – 93°, 60°, .32” (84°, 54°) and July 24 – 92°, 59°, .01” (85°, 61°).
