It is the first month of summer, and summer is living up to its standards – hot, hazy and humid. The area is getting more rain from the pop-up showers. These showers are helping out the gardens and keeping the grass green.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for July 11 through July 17, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: July 11 – 82°, 52° (85°, 61°); July 12 – 88°, 59°, .25” (87°, 64°, .11”); July 13 – 89°, 61° (89°, 65°, .05”); July 14 – 84°, 56° (88°, 62°); July 15 – 82°, 58° (89°, 63°); July 16 – 81°, 59° (88°, 59°) and July 17 – 80°, 62°, .58” (90°, 63°, .09”).
