Good-bye spring, hello summer. The area has already been having hot days, but there are more to come.

The farmers are out in their fields cutting the hay for livestock. Less rain means more days in the field.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for June 13 through June 19, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: June 13 – 85°, 61° (81°, 56°, .9”); June 14 – 77°, 64°, .48” (86°, 60°, .81”); June 15 – 93°, 65° (77°, 54°, .06”); June 16 – 94°, 67° (74°, 48°); June 17 – 89°, 64° (75°, 43°); June 18 – 72°, 59° (82°, 60°) and June 19 – 75°, 44° (81°, 62°).
