It seems that Mr. Winter is giving everyone a break from last week’s frigid, cold temperatures as the area is going to have above freezing temperatures in the afternoon. This is going to melt the snow on the ground and put moisture in the ground.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for Jan. 20 through Jan. 26, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: Jan. 20 – 18°, 1° (16°, 10°, .25” snow), Jan. 21 – 22°, -1° (27°, 8°), Jan. 22 – 23°, -8° (41°, 7°), Jan. 23 – 33°, 4° (50°, 27°), Jan. 24 – 32°, 13° (57°, 37°), Jan. 25 – 41°, 7° (63°, 48°, 03”), Jan. 26 – 42°, 26° (68°, 49°).
