The month of October is in the books as a very dry month. The area had five days of rain. If it wasn’t for the hurricane coming through the first day of October, the area would have been drier.

Veteran’s Day is coming up on Nov. 11. There are many veterans in the county, so give them the respect as they sacrificed their time for the love of the United States of America.
