This area had a great rainfall on the Fourth of July. Some areas didn’t get a drop of rain. The only problem with the rain was that it came down too hard and mostly ran off since the ground is hard, but residents were glad to get the rain. In an hour, the area received 1.8” of rain.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for July 1 through July 7, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: July 1 – 77°, 51° (84°, 64°, .2”); July 2 – 81°, 47° (85°, 65°, .01”); July 3 – 90°, 60° (81°, 64°, .22”); July 4 – 83°, 69°, 1.84” (83°, 65°); July 5 – 93°, 68°, .01” (86°, 66°); July 6 – 88°, 67° (89°, 60°, .6”) and July 7 – 89°, 62° (88°, 65°).
