Due to maintenance and safety concerns, Seneca Caverns will remain closed until further notice.

Kyle Apple with Greer Lime Company said, “We are in the evaluation stage. We are hoping to have everything evaluated and understood within a month or two.” Apple said, “Until all information has been gathered and concerns have been addressed, the caverns will remain closed.”

“Other attractions, such as gemstone mining, shopping, and dining, will remain available to those who wish to visit Seneca Caverns,” according to a Facebook post by Seneca Caverns.
