Grant Memorial Hospital has appointed Felicity Ours as president and chief executive officer following her successful tenure as interim president and CEO.
A lifelong Petersburg resident, Ours has served as interim president and CEO since April, providing steady leadership while advancing the hospital’s focus on quality, operational excellence, financial stewardship and community engagement.
“Felicity has demonstrated exactly the kind of leadership Grant Memorial Hospital needs for the future,” said Mark O’Hern, regional president of WVU Hospitals East and president and CEO of Berkeley Medical Center. “She understands this organization, she cares deeply about our employees and patients, and she has a genuine connection to the community Grant Memorial Hospital serves. We have tremendous confidence in her leadership and are excited about what lies ahead for Grant Memorial Hospital.”
Ours joined Grant Memorial Hospital in 2023 as director of finance following careers in public accounting and commercial lending administration. Her financial expertise, collaborative approach and knowledge of the organization have helped position her to lead the hospital as it continues to strengthen healthcare services for Grant County and the surrounding region.
For Ours, the opportunity to lead the hospital is especially meaningful in the community she has called home throughout her life.

As Ours assumes her permanent role, Grant Memorial Hospital is also implementing a new finance leadership structure. Autum “Brandy” Rogers has been promoted to manager of accounting, and Felicia Goldizen has been promoted to manager of financial planning and analysis. The internal promotions provide continued leadership and stability within the hospital’s financial operations while recognizing the experience and talent of the existing team.
