My grandmother and Marianna’s grandmothers were sisters. Mary Viola Simmons Vandevander passed away in 1970 due to complications of an autoimmune disease called scleroderma. Marianna and I communicated last time in the fall of 2024 when she was in the midst of discovering whether she had a second immune disorder on the rise in her body. Since I have now been diagnosed as having dermatomyositis I am very interested in Marianna’s types of immune system disorders both for me as well as other family members, with both short and long term hereditary possibilities. Could my request be passed along to Angela or to Diana i might be contacted?
