Karen Lambert Harman, 84, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, a beloved mother, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and devotion to her family.
Born on Sept. 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Emmert Lambert and Sylvia Bowers Lambert.
Mrs. Harman was a true force of nature, known for her deep love of flowers and her joy in spending time outdoors. She had a passion for painting, especially watercolors, and found beauty in the simplest moments of life.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. To those who knew her best, she was the “Keeper of Memories” and the heart of the family. Her dedication to her loved ones was unwavering, and her presence brought warmth and strength to all around her.
On June 10, 1961, she was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Charles Edward Harman. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1985. She often said, “There was only one love of my life, Charlie, and I will always be married to him,” a sentiment she carried faithfully throughout her life.
She is survived by children, Charles (Denise) Harman and Stacy Harman; cherished grandsons, Zachary, Hunter, and Chase Harman; and extended family and many who loved her dearly.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin. A service will follow with Pastor Michael Loudermilk officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery at Brandywine.
