Harold Curtis Nibblins, Jr.

Harold Curtis Nibblins, Jr., 75 of Mt. Crawford, Virginia, and formerly of Culpeper, Virginia, passed away Feb. 25, 2025, at his residence in Franklin.

He was born on April 26, 1949, in Charlottesville, Virginia, the son of the late Harold Curtis Nibblins, Sr., and Leola (Jackson) Nibblins.

Mr. Nibblins attended George Washington Carver High School and graduated from Culpeper High School.

He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Petersburg.

He retired from Federal Express as a dispatcher, after 32 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He took pride in his family and was always their biggest supporter. 

On Oct. 31,1992, he married Dianne (Wright) Nibblins, who survives. 

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters, Adria Nibblins of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Lorie Davis (Lorenzo) of Madison, Virginia; three sons, Harold Curtis Nibblins III (Trey), (Erica) of Madison, Virginia, Ryan Nibblins (Kaiulani Moats) of Franklin and Matthew Nibblins of Morgantown; a sister, Dorothy Cunningham (William) of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, and daughter, Lindsay (Lee), and children, Logan and Lee of Raleigh, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Nathan Nibblins, Daniel Nibblins, Annabelle Nibblins, Curtis (Jakey) Nibblins, Matthew Burrell Jr., Matthias Burrell, Kaviq Robinson, Tony VanMeter and Keraun Nibblins; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Leata, and granddaughter, Abigail. 

Funeral services were held Sunday in the chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin with Pastor Calvin Redman officiating. Interment will be at the National Cemetery of Culpeper in Culpeper, Virginia.

Memorials may be made to any Pendleton County Rescue Squad.
