
Garrett Hartman, Spencer Hartman and Aliviah Smith have been named outstanding students of the month for March at Pendleton County Middle/High School.
Garrett Hartman, a senior, is the March James Huffman Responsible Student of the Month. He is the son of Jeff and Julie Sauza of Franklin. He has been a member of the PCHS football team for four years, wrestling for two years, and track and field for two years. He has lettered in both football and wrestling and has received a certificate in building and maintenance from South Branch Vo-tech Center. He attends Living Faith Church and is on the A Honor Roll. He likes to play video games in his free time. His plans are to enter the workforce once he graduates from high school.
A junior, Spencer Hartman from Franklin, is the March Academic Student of the Month. He is the son of Jay and Kim Hartman. He is a member of the PCHS football and track teams. He enjoys spending time with family. He plans to go to college after high school.
Pendleton County Middle School presents Smith as the Student of the Month. An eighth-grade student, she is the daughter of Kelsey Vance and Wayne Smith. She and her family reside in Fort Seybert. Outside of school, she competes and enjoys cheer. Her favorite activity in school is seeing her friends. Her future plan is to go to college to become a radiologist.
