By Anna Cupp

Guess by now the hunters are giving up and getting ready to go home for that big dinner that their wives have been cooking while they were gone. Some of the hunters got a deer while some went home empty handed but will probably be back next week to hunt for that big one.

Recent visitors at their camps here were Mike Crum family and Steve Smith of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Michael Lambert and friends of Rising Sun, Maryland, Michael Scasmy of Peach Tree City, Georgia, Jeff Scasmy of Port Deposit, Maryland, and Billy Keen and friend, Timmy, of Valley Lee, Maryland.

Jay Cline of Elkton, Maryland, spent a few days at his camp getting it winterized before all the cold weather sets in.

Everette Eckard of Catlett, Virginia, Zack Eckard of Warrenton, Virginia, Vernon Crandall of Locust Grove, Virginia, Josh Guizer of Norton, Virginia, and Dillion Guizer from Orange, Virginia, have been enjoying their stay at Thorn Spring Park.  Only one thing wrong, their wives weren’t here to do the cooking for them and all the work that goes along with it. Go ahead and enjoy oneself as all have earned it by working so hard all year.

Shelly and Carol Sheldrick and Danny and Theresa Sheldrick, all of New Jersey, recently spent some time at their camp and visited friends.

Recent visitors in the Harold and Anna Cupp residence have been Everett Eckard, Jay Cline, Vernon Crandall Rick White, Shelly and Carol Sheldrick and grandson, Jennifer Scheider, and Wesley Cupp.

The weather sure has been changeable the last couple of days.
