Donnie Gale Leggett, Jr., 39, of Rainelle passed away on July 16, 2026, at his home.
He was born on May 2, 1987, the son of Janet Lynn (Jones) and Jerry Sutherland (stepfather) of Franklin.
Mr. Leggett attended Doddridge County Schools and was a member of Redeeming Grace Outreach Church.
On April 7, 2019, he married Rebecca Dawn (Lee) Leggett, who survives in Cheraw, South Carolina.
In addition to his parents and wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory two sisters, Brittany Fornash of Clarksburg and Amber Carder of Charleston; his grandmother, Linda Ryan of Franklin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his special buddy, Eric Watson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mathew Scott Leggett.
In honoring his wishes, his body has been cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Franklin Ruritan Building in Franklin with Pastor Jason Boggs officiating.
