On Aug. 2, a climber fell and became injured in a difficult to access area. Multiple agencies responded, including Seneca Rocks Volunteer Fire Department. Maryland State Police’s Trooper 5 rescue helicopter helped to get the injured climber to safety. A Pendleton County Office of Emergency Management statement read, “Great job to all involved with the rock climber incident at Seneca Rocks today.”
