The Pendleton County WIC office has moved to the Pendleton County Health Department at 273 Mill Road in Franklin.
During the month of September, Pendleton County WIC Clinic will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for full service. Limited services are also available from 2 to 4 p.m. on other days of the week. Call for details.
Pendleton County participants can receive services in Petersburg if alternate days or evening appointments are desired. The office will be closed Sept. 7, 11 and 16-18.
WIC offers nutrition education and healthy foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants under age 1 and children under age 5. Either parent or a designated guardian can bring a child to appointments.
