Thelma Louise Dillon, 100, of Franklin passed away on Sept. 13, 2026, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1925, in Monticello, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Belle (Reed) Rector.
Mrs. Dillon had a giving heart and devoted her time as a volunteer at the Fisher Titus Hospital in Norwalk, Ohio.
She was a Baptist by faith and had a teaching degree.
She married Jefferson Young, who preceded her in death. She later married Gary Tresler Dillon, who also preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Gardiner (Mike) of Franklin; two sons, Jefferson Young (Sandy) of Springfield, Ohio, and David Young (Donna) of Peyton, Colorado; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers.
In honoring her wishes, her body has been cremated.
