It’s that time of the year when traffic will be heavy this weekend as Monday is the opening day of rifle season for deer. Hunters, make sure one reads the West Virginia hunting regulations that applies for gun season on deer.
A surprise party happened at the Smith Creek Church of the Brethren. It was a celebration for Bennie and Mary Alice Evick for their many years of great fellowship for the church and community.
