Rebecca Sue Kile, 69, of Upper Tract passed away Aug. 29, 2022, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1952, in Petersburg, the daughter of the late Lester and Laura Etta (Kile) George.
Ms. Kile was a 1972 graduate of Franklin High School and had worked at Hanover Shoe in the lasting department and Marshalls in packaging.
She enjoyed word searches and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three sisters, Mary Helmick of Dorcas, Linda K. Kile and Joy Marie Lantz (Steve), all of Upper Tract; a brother, Charlie George (Tammy) of Upper Tract; and a half brother, Raymond George (Rebecca) of Upper Tract.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Casper, Stanley, Andy, Gladen and Foster; and four sisters, Minnie Borror, Nora Belle VanMeter, Ethel Davis and Catherine Kesner.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Webb officiating. Interment will be in the Kile Cemetery in Upper Tract.
