The 2026 Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Pageant winners were crowned July 11, and the fifth annual Little Treasures Pageant was held July 12. Both events were held in the auditorium at the Pendleton County Middle/High School.
Madelyn Johnson from Petersburg was crowned the 2026 Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen. Felicia Cook from Seneca Rocks was crowned the 2026 Ms. Treasure Mountain Festival Queen. Kinley Bennett from Circleville was crowned the 2026 Teen Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen. Addalyn Dispanet from Petersburg was crowned the 2026 Preteen Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen.
Adalyn Hartman from Maysville was crowned the 2026 Junior Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen. Aveah Taylor from Moorefield was crowned the 2026 Little Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen. Evelyn O’Dell from Petersburg was crowned the 2026 Tiny Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen. Preslee Keen from Petersburg was crowned the 2026 Mini Miss Treasure Mountain Festival. Cambree Boone from Franklin was crowned the 2026 Baby Miss Treasure Mountain Festival Queen.
Johnson will represent the Treasure Mountain Festival at the 2027 West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals Pageant in Charleston with more than 90 other state fair and festival representatives.
The pageant is open to all young ladies that are legal residents of West Virginia and fulfill the regulations for the appropriate category of their age. Preteen contestants are ages 9-11 with teen contestants 12-15 and queen contestants 16-21. Ms. Contestants are ages 22 and above or otherwise do not qualify to compete in the miss category. The teen, queen, and Ms. contestants competed in personal interview with the judges. All contestants competed in the categories of fun fashion and evening gown with the finalists having an on-stage interview.
Baby contestants are ages birth to 11 months with mini contestants 1-2, tiny contestants 3-4, little contestants 5-6 and junior contestants 7-8.
The winner in the queen division received a cash prize of $1,000, lodging and entry fee paid to the 2027 WV Association of Fairs and Festivals Pageant, crown, sash, plaque, and flowers. The teen queen was presented with a $100 cash prize, crown, sash, plaque and flowers. The preteen queen received a $50 cash prize, crown, sash, plaque, and flowers. Awards were also presented to a first runner-up, second runner-up, Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, and Crowd Favorite in each division.
