Myrtle Yvonne (Judy) Shriver, 81, of Circleville passed away on March 27, 2022, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.
She was born on June 20, 1940, on Snowy Mountain, Cherry Grove, the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Mullenax) Judy.
Mrs. Shriver attended Circleville High School and was a member of the North Dry Run United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, and her passion was spending time with her family.
On April 5, 1957, she married Kenneth Eugene Shriver, who preceded her in death on July 16, 2007.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy two daughters, Janice Raines (Marlin) and Elizabeth Shriver (Allen Simmons), all of Circleville; two sons, Douglas Shriver and Mark Shriver (Melissa), all of Circleville; six grandchildren, Chandra Berryman, Marlena Beachler, Shania Shriver, Michael Shriver, Brittany Shriver and Marcus Shriver; and 15 great-grandchildren, Mattie, Kody, Kailia, Taelor, Destiny, Trace, Brayden, Baylee, Braxton, Kylan, Bryce, Ezra, Braylynn, Ella and Norie; and a brother, Martin Dale Judy (Cheryl) of Illinois.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael John Shriver (Jan. 6, 1996); a grandson, Matthew Dana Shriver (Feb. 20, 2016); and siblings, Alma Eye, Roy Hartman, Maxine Campbell, Glenna Ruddle, Carrie Judy and Delano Judy.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. today at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating. Interment will be in the Shriver Family Cemetery on Snowy Mountain, Cherry Grove.
