Joe Eddie Vint, 73, of Circleville passed away on Oct. 12, 2024, at his home.
He was born on Jan. 4, 1951, the son of the late Patrick Henry and Laura (Hedrick) Vint.
Mr. Vint attended Circleville High School and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He had worked as a lifelong farmer and retired from Allegheny Wood Products, after 30 years of service. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening.
In 1975, he married Sandy Lee (Teter) Vint, who preceded him in death on April 29, 2023.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory a daughter, Wendy Vint (Steve) of Circleville; a son, Gary Vint of Circleville; three sisters, Mable Vint of Petersburg, Eva Lambert (John) of Circleville and Patricia Vint Auville of Riverton; three grandchildren, Bethany, Zachary, and Aaron Vint; and his “furry friends,” Matt and Rollie, and baby goat, Sock.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Roland, Charles, Tommy, Roy Lee and Robert Junior; and a sister, Lorraine Sellock.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Basagic Funeral Home chapel in Franklin. Interment was at the Joe Vint Family Cemetery in Circleville with Elder David Hartman officiating.
