James Franklin Breth, 86, of Franklin passed away on April 18, 2025, at his home in Circleville.
He was born on Nov. 7, 1938, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ambrose and Wava (Batten) Breth.
Mr. Breth attended Purchase Line High School in Commodore, Pennsylvania, and was a member of the Father’s House Church in Petersburg.
He had worked as a truck driver for Hinkle Trucking.
On Dec. 24, 1965, he married Shirley (Beam) Breth, who survives in Circleville.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind a daughter, Jamie Mae Brown (Bobby) of Seneca Rocks; a brother, William Breth (Terri) of Rockton, Pennsylvania; a granddaughter, Brooke Marlow (Charles); and two great-grandchildren, Hadassah Milstead and Isaiah Marlow.
In honoring his wishes, his body has been cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
