WVU Medicine Grant Memorial Hospital is excited to announce the creation of the Celebration Garden, located in the hospital courtyard. The garden is a special space dedicated to honoring, remembering, and celebrating those who have touched a person’s life in meaningful ways. This garden is not only for remembering the departed, but also for appreciating those who have made a lasting impact on one’s life.
In this peaceful space, contributors are invited to place hand-painted stones as a tribute in remembrance of a loved one, in honor of a friend or relative and in appreciation of doctors, nurses, or healthcare workers who made a difference in the life or health of someone dear.
All GMH employees and community members are welcome to participate. Stones should be no larger than 4”x8” and painted with care and intention.
The staff hopes one will join them in creating a meaningful and lasting tribute, a space that reflects the love, gratitude, and cherished memories a person carries in one’s heart. The staff also appreciates one for helping them create a space worthy of the names and stories it will hold.
