After several weather-related delays, the winner of Franklin Elementary School’s Kiss the Pig fundraiser was announced. The race was close with only a $1.27 difference. Kimberlee Hevener, assistant principal, was the winner and bravely kissed the adorable little piglet. The piglet, named Wilber by Lori Moore, principal, was so irresistibly cute that he ended up getting lots of extra kisses, too. The kids especially loved seeing their teachers kiss the little piggy. The fundraiser benefited the school’s positive behavior support program.
