Summer Fun Fest brought a little something for everyone last Saturday. Kids enjoyed a bouncy house on the playground while an adult beverage section surrounded an area entertained by several acts of live music. Food trucks and vendors also helped make the afternoon under a brilliant summer sun festive. The Town of Franklin and the Pendleton County Chamber of Commerce work to organize the yearly celebration. In a public release, a town spokesman stated, “I want to take the time to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, and all of you who attended our Fourth Annual Summer Fun Fest. We couldn’t have had a successful event without all of you.”
