The writer thinks the garden is almost finished. One night the deer came and ate every one of the tomatoes that she was planning on putting away for the winter to use in vegetable soup, chili soup and spaghetti sauce. It is nice that good friends like Donnie and Carolyn Simmons supply enough tomatoes to see the Cupps through the winter.
Wesley Cupp continues to help with the work around here and stops on his way over and brings breakfast to the Cupps.
Dennis and Carol Sheldrick and Frank Waldof from New Jersey visited in the Cupp household.
Those enjoying the 4-wheeler ride Saturday were Donnie and Carolyn Simmons of Franklin, Cathy Bennett of Brandywine, Rick White and Jennifer of Sugar Grove, Dennis and Carol Sheldrick and Frank Waldof of New Jersey, Wesley Cupp of Dayton, Virginia, and Harold Cupp of Fleisher Run. The writer is sorry that Ricky Bennett was missed but some people have to work the weekends—maybe next time. Everyone also returned to the Cupp residence to enjoy the weiner roast.
The Billy Keen family from Valley Lee, Maryland, spent the weekend at their camp.
