By Anna Cupp

Steve Smith of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, recently spent some time at his camp here.

Mike Crum and son were also here doing some summer tune ups around their place, getting it ready for the summer months.

Billy Keen and John have recently been in and did some mowing around their place.

Jeff Scasmy of Fort Deposit, Maryland, and Michael Lambert of Rising Sun, Maryland, were also here.

Judy and Rodger Coleman recently spent a few days visiting their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters in North Carolina.

Recent visitors in the Cupp residence have been Donnie and Carolyn Simmons of Franklin, Rodger and Judy Coleman and Gary Shaffer, all of Sugar Grove, Steve Smith of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Douglas Botkin of Churchville, Virginia, Wesley Cupp of Dayton, Virginia, Michael Cupp and Joyce Hensley of Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Guess the hummingbirds and the whip-poor-wills are finally here for the summer. The frogs are finally croaking at the pond.  There is nothing better than sitting out on the porch listening to all that noise just before a person turns in to try and get a good night’s sleep.

Shelly Sheldrick spent a few days at his place here. Carol still has a few more working weeks ahead before she can finally retire and come here to spend some time on her own. She likes to go to Little Debbies to gather up the goodies. Guess they will be here for the Brandywine Lawn Party this year. It sure will be nice to have someone around to go visit this summer.

The writer is glad to see some of the lawn parties coming back this year.

Frank and Cheryl Waldof of New Jersey recently spent the weekend visiting with Carol and Dennis. They also visited Rick White and Jennifier.

The Eavers from Clover Hill, Virginia, have been at their place doing some work.

The gardens sure have been looking good, but the area is in much need of rain.

Shirley and Junior Lohr of Alexandria, Virginia, recently spent a day with Jimmy and Lynn Simmons at Eglon. They have been trying to catch up on the mowing when it isn’t raining and the inside chores when it is wet and they can’t get outside.
