Recent visitors at their camp have been Mike Crum and Steve Smith from Stuarts Draft, Virginia.
Shelly and Carol Shedrick of New Jersey recently were visitors here. They also visited with Harold and Anna Cupp and Rick White and Jennifer.
Mike and Jennifer Lambert and daughters of North Carolina spent Easter weekend with Rodger and Judy Coleman.
Jeff and Melissa Arbogast spent the weekend here.
Recent visitors in the Harold Cupp home have been Wesley Cupp of Dayton, Virginia, Rodger and Judy Coleman, Gary Shaffer of Sugar Grove, Barbara and Bill Eavers of Clover Hill, Virginia, and Donnie and Carolyn Simmons of Franklin.
Junior and Shirley Lohr spent a few days at their place picking up sticks and getting ready to start the usual summer chore of mowing grass.
Jeff Scasmy of Fort Deposit, Maryland, and Merl Scasmy of Peach Tree City, Georgia, came in and did some turkey hunting.
It surely has been a change of weather. A person doesn’t really know how to dress either.
The gardens are starting to fill up with peas, onions and potatoes planted, but as far as the plants are concerned, it’s a little too early for them.
The hummingbirds have finally arrived and the area is waiting on the whip-poor-wills to arrive.
Some of the mowing has started as the men have another new toy to play with—a new lawn mower. The writer guesses they decided to try them out before the grass gets too tall, just to make sure they are working properly.
The writer doesn’t know who was responsible for the chicken that was fixed at the rescue squad building, but it surely was delicious. The writer would like to tell them to keep up the good work.
