Multiple Pendleton County residents achieved academic honors during the spring 2026 semester at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Moorefield.
Earning President’s List honors, which requires completing 12 or more credit hours this spring with a 4.0 grade point average, were Aubree Keiter and Jacob Mitchell.
Dean’s List recipients, earned for completing nine or more credit hours this spring with at least a 3.5 grade point average, were Breena Bowers, Selena Hedrick, Leah Nesselrodt, Emily Poling, Clara Raines, Miranda Simon, Carolyn Varner, Amber Verdoni, Brynlynn Waggy, Isabelle Zirkle, and Sarah Zirkle.
Merit List recipients, which requires completing six or more credit hours this spring with a 3.25 grade point average, were Arianna Alt, Kinsley Armstrong, Ty Heavner, Dakota Huffman, Summer Hull, Callie Judy, Jameigh Miller, Nancy Miller, Jaidah Nesselrodt, William Owens, Vivian Pownell, and Kaviq Robinson.

Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College serves six rural counties in the Potomac Highlands. The college offers 14 degree programs (including six fully online), 12 certificates, and more than 30 transfer pathways to four-year schools. Its Workforce Education department provides 15+ training programs in various formats and specialized agriculture innovation training, including mentorship opportunities for Farm Fellows. Eastern supports students and the community through its career center, offering job placement, resume help, and interview preparation. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
