Earl David Armentrout, 82, of Seneca Rocks passed away on March 2, 2025, at the Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.

He was born on July 14, 1942, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the son of the late Foster and Viola (Stonesteet) Armentrout.

Mr. Armentrout was a 1961 graduate of Circleville High School and was a member of the former Pleasant View United Methodist Church.

He was a certified welder, a professional concrete finisher, and retired from American Woodmark.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting for mushrooms, and playing cards with friends at Harpers Store.  He cherished moments spent with his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His wife, Phyllis (Nelson) Armentrout, preceded him in death on Jan. 20, 2021.

Surviving are a step-daughter, Goldie Pearl Teter (James) of Daytona, Florida; two step-sons, Dan Kisamore of Seneca Rocks and Craig Kisamore (Paula) of Circleville; a brother, Carl Armentrout (Patsy) of Seneca Rocks; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Rohrbaugh; and a brother-in-law, Lincoln Rohrbaugh.

A funeral service was held March 6 at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg with Pastor Theodore Bennett officiating. Interment was at North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
