Donna Lee (Moyers) Simpson, 69, went to be with Jesus on May 18, 2026, in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

She was born on Aug. 6, 1956, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Curtis A. Moyers and Bertha (Pitsenbarger) Moyers of Franklin.

On June 14, 1975, she married Larry G. Simpson, who survives.

They are the parents of Tiffany Simpson and Rebeka Simpson, both of Harrisonburg, Virginia.

She is also survived by: an older sister, Wanda Townsend of Franklin; a younger brother, Andrew Moyers of Franklin; an uncle; two aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Franklin Presbyterian Church in Franklin.
