Donald Paul “Pappy Don” Kremer, Sr., 79, of Seneca Rocks died May 15, 2022, at Stonerise of Keyser.

Born on Aug. 22, 1942, in Smithfield, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Thurman and Emma Jane (Feathers) Kremer.

Mr. Kremer was a retired truck driver with his handle being “Golden Triangle.” After he stopped driving, he became a dispatcher for Dennis Lupton Trucking for many years. He also served in the United States Army. Golf was his game, and he watched it on TV any free time he had.

He loved his family and had spent the last few years with Eric and Rachel Hedrick as dementia overcame him. He had resided at Stonerise of Keyser since March of 2021. He attended the Cornerstone Family Fellowship in Petersburg, where everyone loved him.

Surviving are his wife Carolyn (Bennett) Kremer; children, Bettina Helena Kremer, Donna Ruth and Donald P. Kremer, Jr. and wife, Kelly; a stepson, Eric Hedrick and wife, Rachel; five granddaughters, Raven, Reece and Rhenn Hedrick and Alexis and Brooke Kremer; a grandson, Justin Hedrick; twin great-granddaughters, Mikia and Kileah Sickler; a brother, Neil Kremer and wife, Cheryl; four sisters, Janet Clymer, Patricia Lucas, Harriett Kozlowski and husband, John, and Beverly Johnston and husband Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Merle Kremer; a sister, Charlotte Kremer; and two brothers-in-law, William Clymer and Eugene Lucas.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, was in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cornerstone Family Fellowship, 1516 Lunice Creek Highway, Petersburg, WV 26847.

Condolences and personal reflections to the family may be left after Mr. Kremer’s obituary at smithfuneralhomes.net.
