VFW Post 9666 will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 9 at the post home in Sugar Grove.
Holy Week Services Planned
High Rock Church at Seneca Rocks with the help of men from six different county churches will present “The Twelve Seats at the Table” at 7 p.m. today. The performance will be followed by communion and a reception in the church basement.
Mountaintop Ministries with Pastor Mike Loudermilk will have a Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m. today at Franklin United Methodist Church. A Good Friday service will begin at 7 p.m. at Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Franklin. An Easter sunrise service will be held at 7 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Deer Run. Breakfast will follow.
St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church will have a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. today in the church sanctuary. The church will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Good Friday to provide a time for reflection and prayer. Easter resurrection services on Sunday will include a 7 a.m. sunrise service followed by breakfast. At 9 a.m., a worship service including Holy Communion will be held. St. Paul Church is located at 4198 Doe Hill Road in Moyers.
Everyone is welcome to attend services at any of the churches.
Post 30 To Meet
American Legion Pendleton Post 30 will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 8 at the Star Restaurant in Franklin.
Library Friends To Meet Tuesday
The Friends of the Library will gather at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the community room of the Pendleton County Library in Franklin. All are welcome to attend.

Eastern Schedules College Fair April 8
Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Moorefield will host a college fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 8. Students, families and community members are invited to explore college transfer opportunities, academic pathways and future career options.
Balance, Exercise Class To Begin
