Quilters To Gather
The Sew and Sews Quilt Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church in Franklin. Anyone interested in quilting is welcome to attend.
Post 9666 To Meet
VFW Post 9666 will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 12 at the post home in Sugar Grove.
Lenten Lunches Continue Today
The annual Lenten Lunches hosted by the Pendleton County Ministeral Association began at noon today at Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Franklin.
A meal, consisting of soups, sandwiches, desserts and drinks, will be served at noon. A Lenten message will be delivered at 12:30 p.m.
This week’s meal will be provided by Franklin and Ruddle Presbyterian churches. The message will be delivered by Deborah Beam.
Next week’s meal will be provided by Faith and Calvary Lutheran churches. The message will be delivered by Angela Lambert.
All donations will support the mission of the ministerial assocation as it seeks to serve those in need in Pendleton County.
Post 30 To Meet
American Legion Pendleton Post 30 will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 11 at the Star Restaurant in Franklin.
School Calendar Changes Released
Pendleton County Schools has made the following changes to the school calendar.
March 27, 30 and 31 and April 1 and 2 will be a full day for students and staff.
Library Friends To Meet Tuesday
The Friends of the Library will gather at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the community room of the Pendleton County Library in Franklin.
All are welcome to attend.
Family Support Center Sponsors Discussion Session
The Pendleton County Strive to Thrive Family Support Center on Main Street in Franklin is hosting a ground for discussion with presenters from The Health Plan and Upbound School Program from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
