Holy Week

Services Set

 

The Cherry Grove Baptist Church will begin its Easter services with a covered dish breakfast starting at 9 a.m. followed by worship service with Pastor Ted at 10 a.m.

Christ Central Community Church in Upper Tract will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 p.m. today. Easter services will begin at 10:30 a.m.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Franklin will hold a Holy Thursday service at 5 p.m. today. An Easter Sunday service will be begin at noon.

A Maundy Thursday service will begin at 7 p.m. today at Main Street United Methodist Church in Franklin. Good Friday services will be held at 7 p.m. at Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Franklin. An Easter sunrise service will begin at 7 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Deer Run with breakfast following the service.

 

Post 9666

To Gather

 

VFW Post 9666 will meet at 6:30 today at the post home in Sugar Grove. Election of new officers will take place.

 

County Commission

Meetings Changed

 

The Pendleton County Commission will resume its meetings at 9 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the county commission office in the courthouse.

 

Lenten Luncheons

Continue at

Walnut Street UMC

The annual Lenten Luncheons, hosted by the Pendleton County Ministerial Association, continue today at Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Franklin. The message will be delivered at noon. 

Pastor Fletcher Hutchison will deliver the message and the meal will be provided by Mountaintop Ministries.
