World Poetry Day To Be Celebrated

To celebrate World Poetry Day, the Friends of Pendleton County Library will host a poetry sharing event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the library community room.
All are invited to attend.

 

Community Meal Scheduled at NF Baptist Church

North Fork Baptist Church in Riverton will be having a community outreach meal beginning at noon on Tuesday. Representatives from Pendleton County Family Support Center will be there with food boxes. The church clothing closet will be open.
God bless and hope one can join the church family in the house of the Lord.

 

Lenten Lunches Continue Today

The annual Lenten Lunches hosted by the Pendleton County Ministeral Association continue at noon today at Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Franklin.
A meal, consisting of soups, sandwiches, desserts and drinks, will be served at noon. The message will be delivered at 12:30 p.m.
This week’s meal will be provided by Reed’s Creek, Upper Tract and Mt. Horeb United Methodist churches and Mountaintop Ministries. The message will be delivered by David Webb, pastor of the Reed’s Creek, Upper Tract and Mt. Horeb churches.
Next week’s meal will be provided by Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and Franklin Presbyterian Church. The message will be delivered by John Windett.

 

Family Support Center in Franklin Sponsors Activity

The Pendleton County Strive to Thrive Family Support Center on Main Street in Franklin is sponsoring a mobile food pantry and resource event from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 25 at the North Fork Baptist Church in Riverton.
