Senior Sponsored Meal Scheduled

Christ Central Community Church will be sponsoring “Lunch on Us” meals for seniors aged 60+ on March 21 at the Franklin Senior Center. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please contact the senior center at 304-358-2421 by 2 p.m. March 18 to reserve a meal.

Region 8 PDC To Meet March 20

The Region 8 Planning and Development Council will meet at 12:30 p.m. on March 20 at the Region 8 PDC Office located at 131 Providence Lane in Petersburg.

Lenten Lunches Continue Today

The annual Lenten Lunches hosted by the Pendleton County Ministeral Association continue at noon today at Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Franklin.

A meal, consisting of soups, sandwiches, desserts and drinks, will be served at noon. The message will be delivered at 12:30 p.m.

This week’s meal will be provided by Faith and Calvary Lutheran churches. The message will be delivered by Angela Lambert, pastor of the Mountain Lutheran Parish.

Next week’s meal will be provided by Reed’s Creek, Upper Tract and Mt. Horeb United Methodist churches and Mountaintop Ministries. The message will be delivered by David Webb, pastor of the Reed’s Creek, Upper Tract and Mt. Horeb churches.
