Clona Mae (Eye) Brown, 83, of Belington passed away Sept. 3, 2025, at Autumn Lake Health Care Center in Crystal Springs.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1942, in Brandywine, the daughter of the late Ollie and Edith (Rexrode) Eye.
Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Franklin High School and had owned and operated Brandywine Motel and Restaurant for 10 years. She had also worked at Wampler Poultry.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
On Sept. 30, 1970, she married the love of her life, Eddie Lee Brown, who survives in Belington.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Rhonda Lynn Morris (Jeff) of Franklin; two sons, John Michael Crigler (Beth) of Elkins and William Charles “Chuck” Crigler of Butte, Montana; a granddaughter, Meghan Hiner (Jamie); two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Blayke Bennett; and a special nephew, Daniel Eye (Stephanie).
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Lee Brown; and a brother, Kenneth Eye.
In honoring her wishes, her body has been cremated and laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
