Christopher Lee Wimer, 74, of Riverton passed away Nov. 19, 2024, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1950, at Riverton, and was the son of the late Harlan Wimer and Texie Lee Bland Wimer.
Mr. Wimer was a graduate of Circleville High School and attended Solomon Chapel Church.
He worked as a farmer, was a supervisor for Voith-Siemens Hydro-Power, worked for the U.S. Forest Service and owned and operated The Broken Spoke and Spruce Mountain Logging.
His wife, Lucy Miller Wimer, survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Barkley (Weylin) of Harman and Krista Lee Wimer Kimble and Texie Wimer Gibbs (Marcus), all of Riverton; three sons, Galen Wimer (Miranda) and Larry Allen Wimer, all of Silsbee, Texas, and Christopher Jed Wimer of Riverton; two sisters, Carolyn Wimer of Seneca Rocks and Rebecca Bent (Marlan) of Circleville; a brother, Larry Wimer of Riverton; 16 grandchildren, Christopher “Dyllan” Wimer, Trinity Kimble, Trista Kimble, Summer Kimble, Tessa Propst, William VanMeter, Kayson Teter, Keaton Swick, Alena Barkley, Silas Gibbs, Michael Biggs, Matthew Biggs, Sawyer Wimer, Cole Wimer, Michael Wimer, and David Wimer; and two great-grandchildren, Magnolia Johnson and Honey Johnson.
No funeral service was held.
