Brandon “Bubba” Moats McMillen

Brandon “Bubba” Moats McMillen, 37, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and formerly of Moyers passed away May 5, 2025, at his home.

He was born July 26, 1987, a son of Karen (Moats) Pitsenbarger of Moyers and Kenton “Mac” McMillen of Michigan.

A Christian in faith, Mr. McMillen was a member of St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church.

He graduated from Franklin High School in 2005 and continued his education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he pursued a business degree.

Amongst his many interests, he truly enjoyed traveling and loved dogs of all types. Above all, he will be remembered as a free spirit and selfless in nature, who was always willing to help others and constantly saw the best in people.

Surviving are his mother, Karen Pitsenbarger and husband, Ron of Moyers; father, Kenton “Mac” McMillen and wife, Robin of Michigan; a brother, Logan McMillen of Moyers; and sisters, Devin Roberts and husband, Alex of Parkersburg, and Shianne McMillen of Floral City, Florida.

His family will hold a memorial service to commemorate his life at a later date.
