Bonnie Gordon Anderson, 91, of (Gala), Eagle Rock, Virginia, died May 18, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on May 17, 1934, in Circleville to the late Harry Jay Gordon and Effie Bennett Gordon.

Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker throughout her life and was a member of the Galatia Presbyterian Church where she belonged to the Women of the Church. She loved her church family, and enjoyed gardening and working puzzles. She was a good seamstress and a great cook.

Her husband, William L. Anderson, preceded her in death.

Surviving are daughters, Twila Rankin (David) of Fincastle, Virginia, Patty Mason (Dennis) of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Sheryl DuVall (Ken) of Troutville, Virginia; three sons, Harry L. Anderson and Johnny Anderson, both of Eagle Rock, Virginia, and Ricky Anderson (Sharon) of Buchanan, Virginia; three sisters, Shelby Mullenix of Harman, Sandra Lambert (Eddie) of Seneca Rocks and Wilma Lambert (Johnny) of Stuart, Virginia; two brothers, Donald Gordon (Betty) of Circleville and Ronald Gordon (Jane) of Green Bank; 15 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Randolph Gordon.

A funeral service was held Wednesday at Galatia Presbyterian Church in Gala, Eagle Rock, Virginia, with Reverend Emily Hook and Reverend Robert McRae officiating. Interment followed in Galatia Presbyterian Cemetery.
