William Randolph “Randy” Gordon, 82 of Frankford and formerly of Circleville died Oct. 3, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born March 13, 1941, in Circleville, he was the son of the late Harry Jay and Effie Bennett Gordon.
Mr. Gordon moved to Princeton and retired from the United States Department of Agriculture Forestry Service after 22 years of service.
He was a n avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers at their camp on Spruce Knob. His hobbies included carpentry and gardening.
His wife, Nancy Gordon, survives.
Also surviving are children, Aaron Gordon of Beckley, Kim Denham (Brian) of Gastonia, North Carolina; stepchildren, Samantha Wylie (Kenny) of Cornstalk and Eric Withrow (Sandra) of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Matthew Gordon of Morgantown, Nathan Gordon of Nitro, Kaeli Denham and Brilyn Denham, both of Gastonia, North Carolina, and Faith Gordon of Beckley; step grandchildren, Anthony Wylie of Sutton and Leah Wylie of Cornstalk; sisters, Bonnie Anderson of Eagle Rock, Virginia, Shelby Mullenix of Harman, Sandra Lambert (Eddie) of Seneca Rocks and Wilma Lambert (Johnny) of Stuart, Virginia; brothers, Ronald Gordon (Jane) of Greenbank and Donald Gordon (Betty) of Circleville; and cousins, James Elza (Carolyn) of Parkersburg and Woodrow Elza of Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Lewisburg with Pastor Pete Scott and Pastor Emory Hanna officiating.
