The Sew & Sews Quilt Show at Treasure Mountain Festival ended a successful weekend with close to 500 visitors viewing an array of antique to modern quilts using a wide variety of colors and patterns.
Elizabeth Mitchell’s Star Studded quilt earned her the judges choice overall award. The viewer’s choice award went to Jamey Wimer’s Sunrise Scraps quilt. The guild’s annual member challenge titled Kaleidoscope of Colors viewer’s choice winner was Pam Sexton’s Butterflies wall hanging.
Holly Hubbs spent the weekend spinning wool and explaining the process to the young and old while Jasmine Moats demonstrated hand quilting.

The Sew and Sews Quilt Guild’s ongoing community project is making and presenting Comforters of Valor to Pendleton County veterans. Since the project began in 2017, guild members have presented 257 comforters.
